AEROMAX TEAM ALLOY 700C ROAD BIKE WHEELSET

NEW/ MSRP $700/ SHIPS IN 24HRS

Why upgrade to cartridge bearing hubs over loose ball/cone hubs?
  • Smoothness: Cartridge bearings offer a much, much smoother ride. Two precisely machined races contain balls in a sealed cartridge unit. It's all set up with far more precision than can be adjusted manually yourself via cone wrenches.
  • Virtually maintenance free compared to loose ball/cone systems. Loose ball/cone systems require re-building, overhauling, and constant bearing adjustment. Cartridge bearings will last thousands of miles without maintenance
  • More expensive yes, but well worth it.

COMPATIBILITY:
  • All cassettes vary slightly in overall width - The included 10 speed or less spacer may or not be enough to eat up space normally occupied by an 11th cog. Buyer is responsible for acquiring any additional spacer(s) if needed.
  • Fits 700c tires - from 700 x 18mm to 42mm or more - the second number is the width, the first refers to the diameter. How wide a tire you can install depends on what type of clearance your frame has between the seat stays and brake arms.
  • Not compatible with single speed or multi-speed freewheels - compatible with cassettes only. Please research the difference between cassettes and freewheels if you are unsure what you have. If you have 8 speed or greater, it's nearly guaranteed that you have a cassette. 7 speed was offered in freewheel and cassettes, whereas 8+ is only offered in cassette form.
  • Not intended for use with 27" wheeled frames. They will fit, but 700c wheels are smaller in diameter than 27" and the brake pads will not touch the rim's braking surface. Conversions are possible with brakes with longer reach arms
